Jean-Paul Edwards, Head of Media Futures at MG OMD UK bought his first banner ad in 1997 whilst waiting for a computer network to be installed. He started and then managed the online team at Manning Gottlieb OMD for 5 years. Since 2003 he has been looking forwards in a Media Futures role studying the intersection between ever more powerful technology, evolving consumer behaviour and new communications media and digital engagement. A former Jupiter analyst he co-founded New Media Age in 1994.
